UniDoodle
UniDoodle, based in Rathmines, has developed a classroom response platform that lets students submit drawings or written answers on their devices in real time. Teachers can view responses instantly, gauge understanding and adjust lessons more effectively. Responses can include sketches, equations and annotations. The company was founded by Seamus McLoone and has Denise O’Grady as commercial lead.
UniDoodle received about €500,000 in commercialisation funding to bring the technology from research into practical classroom use.
Its system is designed to make participation easier for students while giving educators immediate insight into class-wide comprehension and common problem areas across both in-person and online lessons.
